Richmond Dragway is releasing its 2006 season schedule featuring some great new racing events and programs at the track in the new season. 

 

Commented GM Johnny Davis, "We are thrilled to bring the 'King of Quake' back to the Richmond area when the legendary Bob Motz fires up his jet Kenworth at the track on Saturday, April 29th.  Couple his amazing act with events like the thrilling Powerglide Pro Modifieds in August and highlights from two Quick 8 qualified events throughout the season and I believe 06 is going to be our best season yet!"

 

Some other great events for bracket competitiors includes a combined effort between Richmond Dragway and Sumerduck Dragway where RD will host a two day $5000 to win Top ET weekend presented by Performance Dynamics while Sumerduck will host two days of $5000 to win Modified ET racing on the same May 20-21 weekend.  RD's ET Series schedule is a very agressive 20 events presented by AED and RTS Construction and the bracket programs will also feature two of the High Roller Races (without a points series) in 2006. 

 

For the street scene, the AED Performance Friday Nite events are back on the schedule plus two great new events.  The Kuhmo Tires Street Warriorz presented by Hooters will be at the strip for a full Saturday of action on June 17th and Performance Dynamics will be setting up and running a "True Street Pump Gas" shootout on July 8th.
